HEIDELBERG SPECTRALIS OCT

New for 2020

The Spectralis uses Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to scan your eyes. OCT is a medical imaging technique that uses light waves to generate images of the back of your eye. It allows us to see a detailed three-dimensional view of your retina so that they can look at your eye in very fine detail.
Spectralis can be used to detect a wide range of eye conditions and is ideal for the management and maintenance of pre-existing eye conditions, such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Having Spectralis Eye Health Check has never been easier - there is normally no need for bright flashes or dilating eye drops - and with your results available instantly, you’ll have total peace of mind in moments. 
The scan only takes a few seconds and you can blink normally. The camera will not touch your eye so you will feel no discomfort.
